Hinterhaus Distilling Trapper's Oath 18 Year Rye Review
Aged for 18 years and finished in stout casks, Trapper's Oath delivers vibrant aromas of cherry flavored bubble gum that stand up brilliantly against the backdrop of old oak. The palate expresses intense notes of toasted bread and strawberry jam with some light wisps of cherry carrying over from the nose. All the while, the 49 percent ABV keeps the symphony in tune without masking any nuance. This release is a more-than-worthy addition to any whiskey-lover’s back bar.
