The Glen Grant Aged 21 Years 2022 Release
Review
Matured in ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, this impressive 21-year-old single malt arrives in bottle at 46 percent ABV. It's worth pointing that out because it's a couple of percentage points higher than similarly aged releases from rival distilleries, and opting to bottle this way, rather than stretching stocks via dilution, results in a wonderfully concentrated Scotch. Each sip sings with bright tropical and stone fruit notes, toffee sweetness, and decadent oak.
