Argyle Knudsen Vineyard Blanc de Blancs 2018
Review
Rollin Soles founded Argyle in 1987. It was a time when Oregon was still figuring itself out, and pioneers like Soles were plunging vines into soil to try to see what worked. Argyle was one of the first in the state to produce bubbles, and the winery has since become a leader in making high-quality American Sparklers. This single-vineyard wine shows incredible focus. It has a rich nose with aromas of apricot, lemon zest, and almond biscotti. The palate is extremely balanced with good acidity and comfy, soft bubbles that allow your palate to really enjoy the roundness of the fruit.
