Johan Vineyards Zweigelt 2021 Review
Johan Vineyards is one of five bonded wineries in the newly awarded Van Duzer Corridor AVA in Oregon. They practice biodynamic farming, and if you're on the fence about this style of agriculture, this Zweigelt will have you jumping on the sustainability side once and for all. The nose is punchy and savory with somewhat spicy fruit and an overall earthiness. The palate is dry but expressive with very high acidity but enough fruit to hold up to it
