Anthony Road Dry Riesling 2021
Review
John and Ann Martini came to Anthony Road along Seneca Lake in the '70s from Baltimore, with little winemaking experience, and built a family business in one of the more extreme wine-growing regions of the country. It's been a long road (pun intended), but it’s good they kept at it because this Riesling is one of the best we've tasted from this region. Honey, petrol, waxy apples, and pears grace the senses on the nose. The palate is electric and grippy with some added green tea vibes. It’s complex and concentrated, has great depth, and a nice long finish.
