Château du Seuil Coteaux d'Aix en Provence Rosé ‘Chapelle du Seuil’ 2022 Review
Situated on the highest site in Aix-en-Provence, Château du Seuil sits on an ancient fault line giving the on-site soil compositions deep complexity. The winery practices organic agriculture for both their vineyards as well as their olive oil production. This attention to nature comes through in the wine. This is a unique blend of Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Rolle (French for Vermentino). It is crisp and fresh, but with a rounded creamy texture that adds complexity. The intricate terroir of the site comes through in the wine’s captivating chalky minerality.
