Cline Family Cellars Late Harvest Mourvèdre 2019 Review

Today, Cline Family Cellars is essentially a household name. But it all began in Oakley, California in 1982 when Fred Cline made his first vintage with old vines of Mourvèdre, Zinfandel, and Carignan. The family moved to a horse farm in Sonoma-Carneros in 1989 to expand the winery, and the rest is history. Speaking of history, the Cline family still has an affinity for those old vines. And it comes through in this delicious late harvest Mourvèdre. It has a bright nose with classic Mourvèdre pepper and dark berry fruit vibes. The palate is so balanced with just the right amount of sweetness contrasted by great acidity.
